In any profession, the role of a mentor and trainer is crucial for the growth and success of new recruits. In the realm of law enforcement, where the stakes are high and lives are at risk, the training and development of police personnel become even more critical.  Meet Police Master Sergeant Stephen Genova Desendario, a dedicated member of the Philippine National Police (PNP) currently serving as the School Investigator, DLOS PNCO, Librarian PNCO, and Test and Evaluation PNCO at the Regional Training Center MIMAROPA.  PMSg Desendario, a seasoned police officer with over ten years of experience, has made significant contributions in the training and development of police recruits and in-service personnel of the  Philippine National Police (PNP) . He was born in Bago City, Negros Occidental on November 18, 1979. He completed  his primary education at Jalsis Elementary School in Barangay Malingin, Bago City in 1993 and  secondary education at St. Joseph's School-La Salle in Barangay

THE HONOR CODE

     The development of character and integrity is a fundamental objective of the National Police Training Institute. In order to attain this objective, all personnel and students/trainees are bound by the rules of the Honor Code in the public safety profession. a. Students/trainees of the National Police Training Institute are therefore expected to be exemplars of the highest norms of conduct as officers, gentlemen and ladies, and future followers and leaders of the country.   b. Academic related activities such as examinations, graded practical exercises, and completion of written requirements and administrative reports must be the result of the students/trainees personal accomplishments.   c. Alarms and Scandals

Under Article 155 of the Revised Penal Code, the following are liable for ALARMS AND SCANDALS:     1. Any person who within any town or public place, shall discharge any firearm, rocket, firecracker, or other explosives calculated to cause alarm or danger;      2.   Any person who shall instigate or take an active part in any charivari or other disorderly meeting offensive to another or prejudicial to public tranquility;     3. Any person who, while wandering about at night or while engaged in any other nocturnal amusements, shall disturbed the public peace; or      4. Any person who, while intoxicated or otherwise, shall cause any disturbance or scandal in public places, provided that the circumstances of the case shall not make the provisions of Article 153 applicable.  

The Birth of Pinoy Police Education

On this day, the Pinoy Police Education was created and it started on a free website by courtesy of blogger.com. Through this platform, the author had come up with an idea of creating a website suited for Philippine Police Education especially that the learning modality of police courses nowadays is online in response to the needs of upgrading the level of knowledge of police officers while keeping them safe from the risk of COVID-19 pandemic.
